Mashable reports that PornHub has decided to add some new content to their roster, sex ed! They recently launched the “Sexual Health Center,” a free resource for STIs, relationships, and more! I think this is a great way to drive more people to educate themselves…as long as they can turn their attention away from the porn part of the site for long enough

I’m always interested in BDSM and everyday fashion such as the latest “collar”/choker trend that’s been going on over the last few months. It seems everywhere I look, young women are wearing what look like traditional collars but in actuality are choker necklaces. Here is a fun read about another designer, Zana Bayne infusing BDSM into her work.
The University of North Florida is getting very progressive and we like it! As part of the school’s sex week, they are debuting classes on polyamory relationships, kink, and BDSM. It sounds like some of the class names were changed to be more “friendly” but the instructors are the same. Cheers to them for spreading the good word on alternative relationships and sexual interests!
This article by Dr. Lori Beth gives evidence towards Dominant and submissive being sexual orientations. This makes a lot of sense to me but it has been a controversial topic in the past. What do you think?

Speaking of interesting stuff. Do you know that listening to music stimulates the same regions of the brain as sex? I will never see the compositions of Stravinski in the same way again…

In December, the International Humanist and Ethical Association published their Freedom of Thought Report. Their conclusion was that a rise in ‘nationalistic populism’ across the world represents a growing threat to the non-religious, as it ushers in a new era of ‘traditionalist and religious authoritarianism’.

I do not know how this would affect the BDSM community in particular but I just thought I would mention it as it is important.
