Worldwide: There is a way for us kinky folk to give back…to animals…actual animals, not the people kind. Kinksters for Critters, CIN (link) is a non-profit that was initiated by NaughtyHotty and Liquiderotica, both Fetlife famous for their modeling and photography respectively. They run a twice a year online auction comprised of some pretty awesome donations from other kinksters all over the globe. The auction (link) runs for two days on Fetlife and anyone in the world can place a bid to win! Kinksters for Critters is not a recue itself but rather they donate the profits to a chosen organization so a new rescue benefits from their work each time!
Naughty Hotty, has this to say about her work with Kinksters for Critters, CIN:
“I recently read, “many of us rescue animals not only because we value them, but also because deep down we’re trying to heal the lost, abandoned, and vulnerable parts of ourselves”. It resonated with me. Animals speak to me in a way most humans do not. Their vulnerability is something I can relate to. Their unconditional love is something I aspire to. As far as CIN, it gives liquiderotica and I way more than we could ever give it. It feeds our soul and restores our faith in humanity, which is a stark contrast to the harsh reality of the animal abuse and neglect we aim to combat. While the tremendous success of the auctions and raising over $75K in the last few years is incredible, giving it to places dedicated to making the world better for needy critters is even more so.”
Their next auction begins June 10th at 8am PST and concludes June 12th, 4pm PST. All of the bidding is conducted online which means very little effort on your part! Please help support a good cause while gaining the opportunity to buy some pretty awesome merchandise!
Los Angeles: In local news, the private dungeon The Decameron has closed its doors however a new dungeon Studio X in Chatsworth has begun hosting regular play parties.
London: Feminist pornographer Pandora Blake has won a monumental case against her website dreamsofspanking.com. The complaints filed by Atvod (Authority for Television on Demand) allegedly targeted her due to her involvement in spearheading campaigns for less censorship.
We’ve got a great review of Showtime’s new show Submission we reported on last week by a new contributor Zoey Trope.
