How To Shoot Your Own Kinky Porn Movie

September 11, 2017 By The Femdomist 2 Comments

Have you ever fancied yourself as a porn star? You don’t need to live in the Playboy Mansion to star in your own kinky porn movie. Creating your own videos for sexual thrills or to sell online is easy and you probably have most of the equipment you need already.

It’s also a lot of fun for you and your partner, and it can really spice up your sex life!

In this guide, I’m going to explain how to shoot your own amateur porn movie: from setting up your equipment to planning your shots and even selling your videos online.

What You’ll Need

Fortunately, you don’t need a studio full of fancy equipment to shoot your first video; you can get started today using a few items you already own and then build your collection of equipment and props as you go.

For The Beginner

1. A Partner

Sex dolls are pretty useless when it comes to filming and shooting a porn movie on your own isn’t much fun, so you’ll need a partner to help you. The exception to this is if you’re planning on filming some POV clips to sell online.

2. Smartphone

Every modern smartphone phone will be able to shoot high-quality video, so there’s no need to splash out on a camera to get started – just make sure you have lots of storage space on your device.

Ideally, you should use your partner’s phone too – then you can shoot scenes from different angles. Or, you can use a webcam as a second camera.

3. Video Editing Software

It’s unlikely that you’ll shoot your video perfectly in one take, so you’ll need a computer with editing software to create your video. This will also enable you to add some music, titles and other effects.

You can get started with Windows Movie Maker on Windows or iMovie on Mac, both of which are free.

You can achieve a lot with either of these programs, but as you develop your skills and take your homemade pornography more seriously, you might want to invest in some professional editing software like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut.

If you don’t have a computer, you can download video editing apps on your smartphone – there’s plenty to choose from, but you won’t have the same flexibility and options as you would with a desktop app and editing on the phone can be fiddly.

For The Seasoned Professional

The items above are the bare essentials to get started; having a few extra tools at your disposal can help you add a bit more polish to your movies.

1. Professional Camera

At some point you may want to upgrade to a professional video camera – most DSLRs will be able to shoot high quality, professional video, or you could experiment with a GoPro.

2. Tripod

Whether you’re shooting with a camera or smartphone, a tripod will come in handy. You may not be able to hold the camera yourself for most scenes and using random household objects to stack and position the camera gets frustrating after a while.

I started off with this excellent mobile phone tripod kit which costs just $30 on Amazon – it even comes with special lenses for you to experiment with.

3. Lighting

Shooting good video is all about the lighting, and as you probably won’t be shooting this particular video outdoors in natural light, investing in some professional lights will drastically improve the quality of your videos.

You don’t need to spend an enormous amount of money; I use this Aperture LED panel which costs $58 and this tripod for just $13. Adding just one light to your setup will improve your results and, they also help achieve a lovely balanced skin tone.

Safety

Before we get to the fun part, there are a few safety considerations to bear in mind before you start filming.

If you’re going to be sharing or selling your videos online, then give strong consideration to concealing your identity. You don’t want one of these videos to cause you embarrassment later on if someone should recognise you.

Guys can use a gimp mask to cover their face and women a masquerade mask, or get creative – there are endless styles of masks available online for just a few dollars.

Shoot your video on a neutral backdrop and remove any distinct objects that people might be able to identify – be especially careful not to capture any family photos in the background.

If you’re super paranoid about being identified, then you can adjust the pitch of your voice later on when editing or don’t speak at all. If you have any distinguishable scars or marks on your body, then be sure to cover these too.

Even if you don’t plan on putting your video online, make sure you store it somewhere safe and be careful who you share it with.

You might think it’s a hot idea to shoot an embarrassing kinky movie with your partner, but if you break up, then they’re going to have a copy of it so think about this carefully. Revenge porn is a real issue!

Lights, Camera, Action!

Now we’ve got all the boring stuff out of the way, let’s get down to business and shoot the video. You can put together a great porn video by following just three simple steps:

1. Prepare Your Scenes

Pressing record and hoping for the best isn’t the best option for beginners (or professionals) – you’re going to be nervous, so having a clear picture of what you’re going to do on camera is a good idea.

You don’t need to write out an entire script but discuss with your partner what you want to include in your video, and then break it down into scenes and consider where you will shoot each one and list any props that you’ll need.

For example:

Scene 1: Interrogation [Props: rope, blindfold. Location: Garage]

Scene 2: Tickling [Props: handcuffs, rope, blindfold. Location: bedroom]

You should aim for your video to be at least 8 minutes long to create sexual tension and anticipation as you progress through each scene. Anything shorter is going to fail to create the anticipation that you need to create arousal. If you’re going to be selling your videos online, then twenty minutes is probably the longest you’ll want it to be.

You could even create a full length feature film but for this you’ll need a lot of carefully planned scenes to keep it interesting – and a lot of footage too!
2. Plan Your Shots

Once you know what each scene will look like, then you can set up your shots. For this, you’ll need to get into position and film a few test shots while experimenting with different camera angles.

If you have multiple cameras (or smartphones), then use these to shoot the scene from different angles which you can cut between later when editing. Set these up using your tripods (or a stack of books if you’re on a budget).

If you’ve invested in some lighting, then set this up now too. Film a test scene and then watch it back and look for any areas where your body is in shadow, then use your lights to illuminate these areas and remove the shadows.

3. Action!

Once you have the scene setup, press record on all of your cameras and go for it! Don’t worry if you don’t get it perfect in the first attempt; you can film the scene multiple times. The idea is to get as much footage as possible at this stage and then select the best parts later on when editing.

Sometimes things will go wrong, and you’ll have to restart the scene. In a recent film, I was whipped on the ass with a flogger, but one of the straps wrapped around and caught me on the testicle – I could barely breathe with the pain, so we had to cut the scene short – whoops!

You’re probably thinking at this stage that all this planning, setting up and reshooting scenes doesn’t sound very sexy and that’s because it’s not.

In some instances you may not find it erotic at all, but once you get more comfortable being on camera and more experienced at filming you’ll need to plan less and you’ll enjoy it more. It’s important too, that you have a partner who knows how to push your buttons and turn you on before a scene.
Editing Your Videos

Once you’ve shot all your hot and steamy kink scenes, it’s time to make a cup of tea and get down to the tedious task of editing.

If you’ve never edited a video before, then you may need to watch some tutorial videos for your chosen piece of editing software first to get a grasp of the basics. YouTube is the best place to get started, just search for the name of your editing software + beginners tutorial

For example: iMovie beginners tutorial

You’ll need to watch through all of your footage, purge the bad clips and select your favourite pieces of footage.

Then, you simply get creative with piecing your video together by placing the clips in order on the timeline in your editing software.

If you’ve used multiple cameras to film, then make sure to cut between different angles to make it more engaging. You might cut between a zoomed out shot of a bondage scene and a close up of your partner’s hands tied.

Play around with some of the effects and transitions and get creative, but don’t overdo it or you’ll end up with a cliché, cheesy porn movie. Effects are best used sparingly and the best transition between clips is often just a quick cut without using fades or fancy animations.

You can even add in some music at this stage and pitch up or down your voice if you want to conceal it (although this may sound a bit strange).

Finally, export your video, stick some popcorn in the microwave and sit back and enjoy your very first porn movie!

Selling Your Videos Online

If simply watching your own movies doesn’t provide the thrill you were hoping for then why not sell your videos online? There are lots of places where you can do this and Clips4Sale is one of the most popular.

With Clips4Sale, you can open your own online video store (called a studio) and then upload your clips and sell them. Clips4Sale will list your videos in their directory when people search for specific search terms or categories.

They will take a 40% commission on your sales, but this isn’t a bad deal because you don’t have to worry about hosting your videos and processing payments. Clips4Sale will handle all the technical stuff for you. You can even sell DVDs too!

You will need some photo ID and at least ten unique clips to open a store. You can read the full process for setting up your account on their open a studio page.

Even if you don’t want to sell your videos online, you can always upload them to Pornhub and enjoy the thrill of other people getting off to your homemade videos.

Happy filming!

Movie Review: Fifty Shades Darker

February 20, 2017 By anniebear 4 Comments

fifty2

We know many are tired of having this movie shoved down their throats, however we would not be doing our job as a weekly news and educational source without addressing the second installment in the franchise responsible for bringing (perhaps incorrectly) BDSM and kink into the forefront of society. I saw the movie with my partner Dexx on a rainy afternoon in LA. The theater was full of groups of women, couples, and perhaps not so surprisingly high school aged girls who provided plenty of titters and giggles during the film.

While I’ll avoid regurgitating the plot back to you; it was painful enough the first time, I will start at the top of this movie where Christian Grey immediately wins back Anastasia Steele. I was a bit miffed as to how he managed this. The previous movie had us believe that she was leaving him because he wanted a D/s relationship including punishment and play. In this next film, he shows up unannounced, they have dinner and they are back on. It is clear that Anastasia is not a submissive and is even judgmental towards Christian for his kinky inclinations. She is a very confused, emotionally immature woman, having no dating experience so the reassurance that Christian “has changed and doesn’t need BDSM” anymore is enough for her.

Christian on the other hand shows classic signs of potentially being an abusive or unstable Dom; possessiveness, extreme jealousy, moving the relationship along very quickly, saying one thing and doing another-just to name a few shortcomings. Having read the books prior, I can tell they dialed down his extreme jealousy and general lunacy in the movie. While he expresses signs of serious childhood trauma, he acts out in his life and attributes behavior to this trauma. For the record there are any number of practitioners of BDSM who have suffered trauma but are able to engage in BDSM in a safe and meaningful way. This movie, in my opinion, perpetuates the dangerous fantasy of meeting a “damaged” dominant, becoming his/her muse and somehow “fixing” them. This is a very dangerous path and a common tale within the BDSM community in terms of young or inexperienced submissive engaging with predator Dom/mes.

The movie comes to a crescendo when Christian finally admits that he’s not a dominant but rather a sadist. He acts out on these sadistic fantasies because of the childhood trauma. This is the main issue among the BDSM community, that people only engage in it who are emotionally damaged. This could not be further from the truth. There is also the argument that sadism and dominance are not one in the same-but to be honest that’s a topic for an entirely different article.

Interestingly enough, one of the “villains” in this film is actually one of the only people spouting truth! Nicknamed Mrs. Robinson, she’s an old friend of Christian’s. She is responsible for introducing Christian to BDSM at a young age as his dominant. Though they no longer engage in that type of relationship, she still tries to warn Anastasia that she’s not the right girl for Christian nor could she ever give him what he wants. She hits the nail on the head if I’ve ever heard it! Unfortunately she comes on a little too strong and also becomes a little spiteful and jealous to be much of an anchor for Christian and is cast out.

There is still one more painful installment left in this trilogy. Sadly, if you have read the books you know the ending. The movie was well shot and some of the sex scenes were slightly steamy-a spreader bar scene in particular comes to mind but still, it was VERY mild on the actual BDSM play. There was plenty of sex though. Dexx was also particularly fond of the soundtrack and musical selection. Those high school girls I mentioned at the top of this article were gushing in the bathroom afterward about how amazing the film was. Do we have some future kinksters? Or perhaps they are only after the rich billionaire who sweeps a young innocent girl off her feet?
